The visual appeal upon arrival immediately impresses. The spacious rooms feature large walk-in showers that are fantastic. A nice touch is the water and interesting biscuits available in the rooms. The staff were exceptionally helpful during my one-night stay. I requested a late check-in, and they greeted me promptly when I arrived at the wrong entrance. there are definite areas for improvement. The hotel is still in the process of reopening, which means some facilities are not yet operational, like the bar or restaurant. The lack of offered breakfast options was disappointing. one of my rooms wasn't properly serviced. it lacked basic amenities like milk for tea and toilet paper. This led to some awkward situations given the late hour. I look forward to seeing how the hotel develops once fully operational, especially if it can enhance guest services and address the facility issues.

good potential but some issues to address
The reception upon arrival was warm and inviting, which set a pleasant tone for my stay. The rooms were spacious and airy with beautiful garden views that added to the overall experience. The large walk-in showers were fantastic and refreshing after a long day.
The lack of some basic amenities in my room was disappointing.

Family with children magical escape
The staff were incredibly friendly and truly made our kids feel welcome, even suggesting activities on the grounds like the little petting area where they could feed the llamas. One night, we had a lovely chat with the manager who tailored the wedding menu to our tastes, showing genuine interest in our family traditions.
It wasn’t inexpensive but still reasonable for the quality provided.

Just a smart choice for a rapid stop in Hailsham with real value for money. The room I stayed in was very spacious, which was great for a family. Bring your own breakfast, as they don't offer any options at the moment.
